Outdoor Fall Tablescape
One of my favorite things about fall is the weather. The cooler weather always feels so nice after the scorching heat of Summer, but yet it's not too cold to be able to enjoy the outdoors. There's also a crispness in the air and Fall just has a certain smell to it too that is all so welcoming.
When the lovely, Alicia, from A Burst of Beautiful invited me to join her and some other blogging friends for a fall tablescape tour, I immediately said Yes, and I knew right away that I wanted to create an outdoor fall tablescpae to enjoy the weather and smells of fall with my friends and family.
I also knew right away that I wanted to use copper in my tablescape. Copper is so on trend right now and the warm color of copper pairs so well with the fall season. I picked up some copper spray paint and used it to paint four metal coffee cans and six dollar store round pizza pans.
I wasn't positive how they would turn out, since the lid of the spray paint appeared kinda crimson and bright, so I changed into absolutely pleased to peer that the actual color is more stupid and realistic searching.
I pulled up a few ornamental grass from our yard and placed a bundle of it into every of the four coffee cans. I think the 4 cans down the middle of the desk make for a stunning centerpiece.
As for the dollar save pizza pans, I used those as plate chargers and I think they turned out stunning and fashionable looking.
I moved our picnic desk from the patio to the grass due to the fact I idea the wooden fence and bushes might make a quite backdrop for my tablescape.
I positioned a white piece of wool over the picnic table bench to make it extra snug and cozy.
The area settings are clearly quite simple. Over the copper charger is a dinner plate and white material napkin. I failed to need to hassle with a napkin ring, or call card due to the fact I wanted my table to have a casual sense to it. I also simply used glass jar mugs that I additionally picked up from the dollar shop years ago.
My friends drink wine from jars anyway. Ha Ha, it's true!
My favorite part approximately this tablescape has got to be the copper coffee cans (Copper Coffee Cans...Say that 5 times fast :) )
I think they turned out so pretty. I'm sure I'll be finding more uses for them in the future.
Thank you for preventing by means of today. I hope that I even have inspired you to create an outdoor fall tablescape of your personal to enjoy this lovely season. And if now not, possibly I even have inspired you to spraypaint something copper :)
