I stumbled upon an awesome interior design quiz online that categorizes your style based on your liking or disliking of a series of pictures. The fun part is that the quiz mixes up the images so if you take it more than once you may get different results like I did. When you combine all of my results together I think they got it right!

MODERN ELEGANCE
Variety is the spice of life! And nowhere is this truer than in the design of your home... You either love contemporary but wish it wasn't quite so cold and austere; or perhaps you've always been drawn to more traditional rooms but are now at a point in your life where you'd like to pair down a bit or want to create a less cluttered and busy space. Transitional Style is here to marry those apparent contradicting designs. And guess what — it's the contradictions that make the mix of contemporary and traditional so successful. The result is an elegant room that appeals to young and old alike. A sofa with modern lines blends seamlessly with a pair of traditional chairs. New fabrics work so well on antique pieces. It turns out that modern art looks even more exciting above a collection of traditional pieces. The room feels simple and sophisticated, elegant and hip.
MATERIALS
The material palette for Transitional Style is a wonderful mix as well. Wood tones add warmth to the more modern finishes such as metal and glass. Fabrics are usually neutral and focus more on texture rather than pattern or color. Because you are mixing two very different styles, simplicity is key. Carpets are often Berber in natural tones, though area rugs can bring in color much like a modern piece of art would. Window treatments, when used, are simple in style as well as color and many times you will see natural roman shades or wood blinds used. Satin nickel, chrome and stainless are very popular and can modernize an otherwise traditional space. On the flip side, when the room feels more contemporary vintage golds and wrought iron will tame and add warmth to the space.
COLORS
For color think simple. Remember that you have set out to create an eclectic mix of two styles and the best way to avoid making the room overbearing is to stay subtle on the walls and ceiling. Whites and creams are popular and grays, taupe's and tans are darker versions of neutrals that work very well. The simplicity in the color helps keep the space feeling light, airy and fresh. If you'd like to add deeper color choosing one accent wall is a nice way to do so. Or add depth by bringing color in at the accessory level. The best part about colorful accessories is that you can easily reinvent the space by simply changing the throw pillows to highlight your new favorite color.
When it comes to arranging your rooms, think martini party. Rooms should encourage both lounging (I see a chaise in the corner, you with a martini glass and the lights turned low!) and socializing. Hollywood Couture wants people to come in, take a seat and spend the night chatting away. It should encourage conversation as much as it highlights the amazing pieces in the room.
NANTUCKET STYLE
Oh how you love the beach! Who doesn't, right? And so your dream home is either perched in your favorite beach town, or you've brought that favorite beach town into your house.
Materials
Your art and accessories speak directly to the activities that are found at the beach. Pieces of driftwood you found here, pictures or paintings of the amazing views there. Things that remind you of the coast - surf boards or fishing boats - are found throughout the house. The feeling of the seaside is both abstract and literal in the design of your space. The fabrics are natural, cottons and linens and are light in color and touch. Much of the furniture is wood or wood framed (the lighter the better, think driftwood!) and wicker, when done right, is a must.
COLORS
And since your true inspiration is the sea, the colors and textures in your home are the same that you would find at your favorite beach: white, light beiges and grays of the sand and driftwood, a variety of blues for the ocean and sky, and greens and vibrant blues of the sea glass... but the key is white! Your space should feel light and airy and give off the mood one has when at the beach: laid back!
SPACE PLANNING
Your furniture is comfortable and the layout is cozy. The more it reminds you of actually sitting on the warm sand the better! And what do you do at the beach? Hang out with family and friends - and your home is just an extension of this play place... and though the space is filled with large white furniture, it somehow manages to feel both durable and casual. 
TRADITIONAL ASIAN
You tend to find interiors that hail eastern influences to be both comforting and exciting. Traditional Asian antiques and reproduction pieces interest you on more than a simple level. And you love the contrast between the sometimes intricate detailing of these furnishings to the simplicity of the rest of the home. Natural materials such as bamboo, which are very prominent in so many Asian countries appeal to your senses. You find contrast very appealing and spaces that emphasize the opposites in life, the Yin and Yang, help bring you a feeling of balance and well-being. Because really, what is dark without light? What is smooth without the contrasting texture? What is hard without soft?
MATERIALS
Common materials are dark woods, gold and brass details and lacquered porcelain and wood. Artwork and fabrics used in Traditional Asian rooms are very ornate depicting scenes and characters from legends within the Asian cultural history. Beautiful silk tapestries and drapery are often used and rice paper is very common for lighting fixtures instead of a lampshade. Wood pieces are often hand painted with beautiful scenes or even inlaid with materials such as ivory, gold, jade and mother-of-pearl. Porcelain jars, vases, pots and garden stools are very common and very often are painted in blues and whites, though really can be any color.
COLORS
When it comes to color, a subtle backdrop is key to highlight the important items in the room. Red, because it is symbolic of good luck in many Regions throughout Asia, is very popular and used throughout the entire home. Red painted cabinetry or red lacquered furniture are very common, and in many cases are the dominant accent colors. Gold and yellows are also popular, as is green as both an accent color and through the use of plants and nature. Black and dark brown is also very prominent, and usually is seen as contrasting dramatically to a light background. Much of the wood furniture is stained very dark if not black, though natural wood provides natural relief.
SPACE PLANNING
When it comes to space planning your rooms, you believe in quality over quantity and you arrange your furnishings, art and accessories such that each is highlighted and not lost in the clutter. Bold colors (oh, how you love red and the good luck it brings!) are highlighted in contrast to the dark woods and metal that frame much of the furniture.

For colors, the sky is the limit but drama is essential. If you prefer a lighter palette, think silver and grays with white accents, or go white on white, with only the gloss to separate surfaces! Warmer tones work well in light colors too — only this time envision gold (talk about opulent!) and warm pinks and yellows. Or go bold! Try a high contrast of bright white against dark blues, grays and even black. The great thing about Hollywood Couture is you can take it anywhere!SPACE PLANNING

That's right, its time to roll out the red carpet and get ready for the sparkle of crystal and all things flashy that make up the Hollywood Couture style. Hollywood Couture style originated in high-end lifestyles that made up the years between the roaring 20's and the swinging 40's where it was important to bring a feeling of glamour to the home when the world outside may have lacked it. Nowadays it's scratching a similar itch in the sense that it's bringing a sense of opulence to a world that seems to have forgotten how much fun it can be! The great thing about the updated version of the style is how versatile it is. You can really take it in any direction and add almost any style into the mix, perhaps a contemporary leather sofa paired with lacquered Louis XIV chairs that have been upholstered in lush velvet. The key is that each item feels as rich and over-the-top as possible and yet everything still seems livable. It's not a space that screams: "do not touch" - rather it almost dares you to experience its luxury.MATERIALS
