Bath trends, a Bathroom Blogfest post

Every year at this time, bloggers from all over the world weigh in on the topic of baths. The Bathroom Blogfest has been going on for six years and the topic for 2011 is "Climbing Out." Not in the sense of climbing out of the commode but in the sense of climbing out of recession.

I've been fortunate to spend a honest amount of time overseas this year and in strolling around a bathtub change display in Europe, one might be tough-pressed to be aware that there may be a international recession on. While within the US, people appear pleased to wallow inside the economic doldrums, in Europe people cannot shed them fast sufficient.

The key phrase over there proper now is shade and I desire with the whole lot I even have that the financial optimism I've seen in Europe this year extends across the Atlantic, and soon. While monetary conditions inside the EU are horrific, they're addressing them. Unlike here in the US in which every person seems to want to factor arms and whine about the rate of groceries.

As bad as matters are within the US, I'm convinced that the first Economics teacher I ever had turned into proper, recessions are mental. So whilst the USA languishes in sun shades of gray, the EU loves shade. Here are a few shots I took of Cersaie, the tile and bath display I went to in Bologna some weeks ago.

See all that colour? Good to slight instances are coming, I believe that with every fiber of my being. So long because the Tea Party implodes this is. Sorry to get political. Kind of. Anyhow, right here are some examples of the intense colorations I've visible in the EU.

Between the amazing colors and shapes on display in Bologna this year, I'm beginning to think that there is a way out. Endless thanks to Tiles of Italy for getting me to Bologna and for letting this blogger know that there's a thread or two of hope out there.
