How big is the Gulf oil spill?

Paul Rademacher is an Engineer at Google and yesterday he came up with a new application for Google Earth that shows just how big it is.

Paul's utility then indicates how large the spill could be if it had been superimposed over a sequence of worldwide cities and then you may superimpose it anywhere on this planet you want to.

The map of the spill that Paul used changed into from May 6th, nearly every week ago.

Here it's miles over New York.

And over LA.

And over Vancouver.

And over London.

Drill infant drill, right?

Here's that hyperlink again.
