Mother's Day Outfit Ideas
If I'm being entirely transparent here, we're not huge on gifts in our house. My husband operates under a strict if you can afford it but it when you want it policy that doesn't leave much room for gifting at holidays. While I miss a bit of the surprise of getting a box to open, there is a lot to be said for selecting your own surcy you know you love. So each year I buy myself a dress for Mother's Day. Something fun and special that I might normally think twice about. It's a bonus, of course, if I can wear to Church and brunch, but either way I get to pull it out all summer long. I tend to focus on the kids at Easter so this is the time for me to splurge on my outfit.
I just searched through Nordstrom this time because I like that I can search online while my babies are sleeping and pick it up in the store an hour later. But if you aren't lucky enough to live close by, don't worry, they pretty much offer free shipping on everything and it magically appears like a day or two later so you've got plenty of time to order if you hurry!
