A Springtime Prelude with Balsam Hill

After the long harsh winter we've had, I am so excited to welcome the spring season. I love spring and everything that spring has to offer, including the warmer sunny days and fresh blossoms. Really when you think about it, isn't it the flowers that makes spring so special? The tulips and daffodils popping up out of the dirt and the tiny little blossoms on the trees, that is what  comes to mind when I think about spring. I love flowers and that is why I was so delighted to have been asked to take part in Balsam Hill's new floral campaign,A Springtime Prelude.

Balsam Hill has invited me, along with 10 other talented bloggers to share with you a look at Balsam Hill's new beautiful floral arrangements and greenery that just came out for spring. As you already know, Balsam Hill offers the most glorious Christmas trees but just wait until you see their new Spring floral collection. It is all so realistic looking and simply Stunning!

I want to start by showing you My most favorite wreath in the whole collection, it's this Spring Poppy Flower Wreath. This wreath seriously took my breath away when I opened up the package.  The big bright poppies are such a happy way to welcome the spring season.

I knew immediately that this wreath needed to be hung on our mantle to bring some cheer into our living room.  I just love the size of this wreath, it's really large and it filled up my mantle perfectly.

I used the wreath as inspiration to decorate the rest of the room.  I brought in pillows and artwork that had the same bright colors that are in the wreath. Because my living room was pretty neutral to begin with, the added colors really pop out now.

Our dwelling room now appears so fresh and equipped for spring all way to this wreath.

I significantly smile every time I have a look at it. Just study how pleased it is. I suggest severely! I love it!

And for something motive the colours inside the wreath remind me of Hawaii, consequently I delivered a timber pineapple and some painting of some tropical plant life to the room.

The other gem in the room is this Ranunculus & Hops flower arrangement that sits on our coffee table. It is from the Balsam Hill spring floral collection as well. It has a lot of the same hues that are in the poppy wreath so I think they look great in the room together.

This arrangement looks so realistic with its charming flowers set in a vase with resin that looks like water. The benefits of faux florals is that you get to enjoy them throughout the year. If these were real flowers, I'd have to say goodbye to them in a week or so.

Now let's head into our dining room where I am featuring the Orchid Snowball Arrangement.

I have this arrangement sitting on our industrial butcher block table in the room. This arrangement comes in a basket, but I've simply placed it into an old chippy wood box to add a bit more height to my display.

I love orchids, but can NEVER keep them alive, can you?  I think you have to have some real skills to grow orchids. That is why I LOVE this arrangement so much, I get to have the beauty of orchids in our home without having to maintain them.

The mix of orchids, snowballs, ivy, white blossoms, and everything else that's mixed in creates such a lovely and dramatic centerpiece.

I brought in more greenery along with lots of glass containers to the room to create a greenhouse-inspired look.

In case you are interested, I'm selling more of those two cute pillows that are sitting on the bench in my etsy shop. They add a fun touch to my spring decorating.

The last item I wanted to share with you is this Provencal Lavender Wreath that is hanging on our front door.

Lavender is one of my favorite flowers and it's the one in my garden that I anticipate arriving the most. Mainly for its wonderful smell but also for its beautiful purple color. This wreath is so realistic, it make me believe that the lavender is already in bloom

This wreath is the perfect accessory to adorn our little cottage.

So what do you think? Aren't these florals spectacular?
