Office Changes and Room Inspiration

I decided it was time to change things up in our home office. I felt like the room needed to be cozy-ed up a bit now with the colder months ahead. I also decided that I wanted to give our office more of a rustic, lodge, man-cave feel to it.

So the first step become to drag together some proposal and then pick a brand new shade for the walls.

Because I'm a hoarder of paint swatches, I became capable of reach into my large picnic basket wherein I save them all, and pull out a gaggle of grays that had the tones I changed into going for.

I narrowed my alternatives down to approximately 7 after which became the final select over to my husband, Jake.

Jake is the excellent at selecting paint colours, one take a look at the selections and he said,

"I just like the second one from the pinnacle".

Just like that!

But then I butted in and said,

"Do you believe you studied it will likely be too dark?,

Should I just get a pattern?,

Do you have got a second desire?,

Should I get a sample of that too?

And do you suspect it's going to appearance precise?"

And Jake replies,

" You requested me which one I like, and I just like the second one from the pinnacle".

Ha ha ha ha, Why are men so smooth to thrill?

So I went to Lowes and got a gallon of the paint he pick out, painted the walls,

and I Love it!!!

Jake is so exact at choosing paint colorings that I've learned to simply leave it as much as him to any extent further.

But before I may want to placed the brand new color at the partitions, I needed to first paint the ceiling.

I hate portray ceilings!!

But it had to be performed, the ceiling changed into cream before and now it's miles a clean clean white.

Painting the walls but turned into a bit frightening at the start, I'am totally stepping out of my mild and ethereal consolation sector here.

And the last step was to paint all of the baseboards, trim, and windows white, including the window panes, which was the most tedious job of all, I'm so thankful for my mother-in-law who spent the day helping me out, it was such a big job.
