Clothespin Arrow Christmas tree Ornaments
Lately I actually have a issue for arrows.
And so I made a few arrow ornaments for my Christmas tree this 12 months.
They had been brilliant easy, so I need to percentage with you how I made them.
I started out off with a few clothespins and bamboo skewers.
(each arrow makes use of four clothespins and 1 skewer)
The first factor I did became take away the metallic hinges. They definitely come off fantastic without difficulty.
Then using my hot glue gun, I glued two clothespins together (flat sides facing out) and then I slid the pointed end of the skewer down the center. This creates the arrow head.
For the arrows tail, I glued two clothes pins onto the other quit of the skewer.
This time flat aspects facing in.
Two more garments pins were glued proper above the tail.
And ultimately two extra clothes pins had been glued an inch or so above the remaining step.
I also made a couple of clothespin snowflakes. I found the instructions to make them HERE.
I could have left them the raw wood, but I decided I wanted them a darker brown. I could have stained them, but I didn't have the color I wanted. I also could have spray painted them, but again, I didn't have the color I wanted. So I choose to paint them by hand using a craft paint. Although I did have to add a little water to it, to make it easier to reach inside all of the crevasses.
I'm in reality happy with the manner they turned out.
They are a superb addition to my tree this yr.
Which I could be sharing extra of quickly.
Thanks for stopping by way of these days,
Emily
