I spent this beyond weekend in Fayetteville, NC with my parents touring my little brother. For the beyond 12 months he's been stationed at Fort Bragg however leaves today for a yr lengthy tour in Afghanistan. It was so super to spend an extended weekend with him before his deployment. We're all going to overlook you so much Jamie.
Friday night we ate dinner and wandered round cute downtown Fayetteville. The historic downtown turned into full of vintage stores, artwork galleries, specialty shops and sidewalk cafes. My dad observed a genuinely cool vintage book shop, stunning! We had been surprised to discover ourselves inside the midst of the Fourth Friday Festival wherein they close down all the streets for a festival complete of performing artists and providers. What an fantastic southern city.
I had alot of photos so I decided to submit them in a new format, permit me understand what y'all suppose. It takes a bit greater paintings but I assume it maintains the post smooth.
We spent maximum of Saturday and Sunday at Fort Bragg travelling across the HUGE submit. My brother lives in a townhouse off base but he managed to smuggle us all in for a absolutely cool excursion. "There are not any bombs on this handbag. This Volvo is not a mystery missile."
We visited several memorials and museums and did a touch sock purchasing at the PX! It's outstanding to think of the history at the back of my brother's organization. Think Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers. I recognize there are numerous titles and divisions, and many others. To explain what my brother is part of, but essentially he's an Army Ranger Paratrooper in the airborne department of the Infantry, Delta Company. The All-American unit dates back to WWI.
I wish that wasn't top secret information.
