The Joy of Cooking
It's terrific to me what number of people have idyllic kitchens and may barely serve up a chilly bowl of cereal without reading the commands at the box. This is a sad byproduct of my era's "equality" effort. "Equality" seems to mean that we order in every night time and think cooking is some thing our mom and their moms need to be doing. Not us. Certainly no longer us.
And yet, the repute kitchen - outfitted with the quality that money can buy - is expected in recent times. And while paired with proprietors that cannot or won't cook I discover it extraordinarily amusing. The culinary equal of owning a Maserati with out possessing a driver's license. Or worse...No intention of driving. Ever.
I can not talk for others, but I need the ones glowing stainless home equipment and glowing counters in order that I can have fun the pleasure of cooking. (And, hiya, if I can fix my lipgloss inside the reflection at the quartz counter, so be it!).
