Bienvenue Cote de Texas!
I brought a new layout blog to my blogroll this week, Joni Webb's great Cote de Texas. Her tag line reads: French design at the Texas coast. Yes, it does exist! She has terrific electricity and spirit and her writing fashion is cushty and approachable. Her sense of humor is evident from the name of her weblog during her each girl's technique to interior design. She virtually loves quality matters, but manages to keep her wits approximately her and she or he still manages to have multiple laughs alongside the way. Bravo!
Her blog's name, Cote de Texas, has had me thinking about the Côtes du Rhône all week. The Côtes du Rhône is the region of France that runs the length of the Rhône river, from Vienne to Avignon. It's not exactly the first thing that pops into my head when I think of coastal Texas, and I love the fact that Ms. Webb is crashing together these seemingly discordant worlds. It reminds me of my friend Kevin's insistence that my beloved St. Pete is the Monaco of the Gulf Coast, the Florence of Florida. Why not?
Cote de Texas functions a few tremendous dissections of nicely-designed rooms as well as a fair range of Joni's a success tasks, together with her personal home. If you are searching out some amazing ideas and a few crisp writing, head over there today and say bonjour. If my advice's no longer suitable sufficient, know this: Cote de Texas turned into named one of the top ten blogs of 2008 through none apart from the Washington Post. We keep a few precise enterprise round here, I'll say that.
