Garage Apartment with Plaid Couch

 Remember this one from Cottage Living?  The Owners transformed the unused space above their garage into a stylish retreat for grown children and weekend guest.

 I love the plaid fabric they used on the day bed.  It makes the room feel  warm and masculine.

Would not we all love a area like this above our garages.
