Pomegranate Blue Cheese Ball
Hello!
Welcome back! Did you have a first-rate Christmas?
We positive did. Its just been so first-class and enjoyable round here. We've spend the last few days putting out at home in our pj's and my boys have been having plenty of a laugh playing with all of their new toys from Santa.
So I've made this yummy Pomegranate blue cheese ball the remaining Christmas's and its been this kind of hit that I desired to proportion the recipe with you nowadays. You might also even need to make it up for New Year's Eve. It's a yummy appetizer it's best for the vacations.
To make this delicious Pomegranate Blue Cheese Ball, just add these ingredients to a large bowl:
1 ozbundle of cream cheese, softened.
1 cup of blue cheese.
Half of cup finely shredded cheddar cheese.
1/four cup finely chopped green onions.
With an electric mixer, beat till blended.
Using plastic wrap, form mixture into a smooth ball, and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
In the mean time, remove arils from 1 pomegranate. I find this works best under running water. Discard peels, and dry arils with a paper towel.
After 30 minutes, use your arms to press pumpkin seeds or nuts onto the cheese ball.
I used pumpkin seeds because I had them reachable and thought the inexperienced would appearance festive subsequent to the red for Christmas. But overwhelmed walnuts, pecans, pistachios, or slivered almonds could all be remarkable as well.
To serve, place cheese ball onto center of platter, and then add the pomegranate arils around the cheese ball.
When I made this last year, I used the pomegranate arils to cover the cheese ball, It looked pretty at first, but then it turned the cheese ball slightly pink. By adding the arils to the side of the cheese ball, allows it to look appetizing as you add the arils on top of your cheese covered cracker for a delicious, mouth watering bite.
I desire you give this recipe a attempt to please allow me recognise what you think.
And bear in mind, you could usually pin this recipe for later, you will be happy you probably did.
Thank you for preventing by,
Emily
