Throw Pillows
I think one of the most commonly asked questions I get is about where to find and select throw pillows! I have a slight addiction to them so I am more than happy to indulge this request.
My husband put me on a bit of a hiatus from buying pillows and baskets; those are my two indulgences of choice. But really, can you have too many of either? No! My attic says otherwise. #oops.
Hands down, my favorite place to shop for pillow covers is onEtsy. The plus? There are so many talented shops offering designer fabric covers for a steal. Just select your size and voila. Most designer fabrics come with minimum yardage orders making it hard to justify for just one or two pillows. The downside? You better know EXACTLY what fabric and size you want because you can't make returns. But, this is a great option if you know exactly what you want. Also be aware that you will still need to purchase an insert.
If you want expert help for free--head to a local home decor shop. If you're in Richmond, Ruth & Ollie, featured here last week, has a Pillow Bar where you can snag ready made pretties in all your favorite designer fabrics or sit down with a designer and create something completely custom.Fraiche and Williams & Sherrill also have great combos already styled together on display so you can snag expert match.
Homegoods is another great spot for inexpensive pillow covers with inserts. You will rarely find designer brands and what you see is what you get but there are a lot of good deals to be had there.
Here are a few more pillows I love!
