Console Table Styling
I'm such a sucker for a pretty vignette. Probably because it can have such a big impact on a space, like a an entryway or blank corner of your family room, for not much of an investment. And it's such an easy update. It's also a great way to get on board with current trends or festive up your house for the holidays; show off those succulents and Easter Bunnies!

Of course the next thing you want is a statement piece of art. Minted has the lockdown on affordable art prints. I almost always prefer a simple white mat and frame for a clean look. And I'm definitely having a moment with abstract art. It's also a fantastic way to create a color scheme or tie in colors from other parts of your house.
I'm also completely obsessed with Vintage Turkish Oushak rugs. Like reaaaaaal obsessed. I am a major fan of the vintage rug paired with modern art. They're pricey so my best bet for a more affordable option is to either layer a small size rug over a room sized sisal. In fact, that's one of my favorite looks! Another great option is to get one of the newly made rugs that are basically a knock off of the originals but do the trick. This is an especially good idea if you have small children and/or pets. Of course you'll need accessories! Something green like succulents, an orchid, or Osage oranges are my go picks. After that figure out how you'll use the space or think about where it is in the room. Do you need a mirror? If it's in a front hall I'd say yes and then layer the art on the table and be sure to add in a tray. In a family room you're more likely to want to stack some books with a doo-dad on top. Maybe a candle or a pretty picture frame.
