How to Make Red Velvet Love Cake with Cake Mix
As I said, this Red Velvet Love Cake is super easy to make. It starts with a box of red velvet cake mix. Mix the cake according to the package directions and pour into a cake pan. Next, mix up the cheesecake layer. Ricotta cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Pour the cheesecake batter evenly over the red velvet cake batter and bake.The layers will reverse as the cake bakes. The cheesecake layer will end up on the bottom and the red velvet cake will be on top. The final step is to frost the cake. Mix together a box of cheesecake pudding, milk, cream cheese, vanilla, and some whipped topping. Spread that over the cake and refrigerate until ready to serve. I like to top the cake with some red and green sprinkles.
