With only 4 ingredients they are a snap to make. The sauce is a combination of brown sugar and hot sauce. I used Frank's hot sauce. You can use any brand that you prefer. These Sweet & Spicy Meatballs aren't really spicy. There is just a hint of heat. If you want spicer meatballs, just increase the amount of hot sauce in the sauce mixture.
Start by combining hot sauce, brown sugar, and butter in a large Dutch Oven. Add frozen meatballs and let them cook for about 20 to 25 minutes on medium-high heat. SO easy. Serve them alongside some Ranch dressing and you are ready to party!
I used premade frozen meatballs in this recipe. There is no need to thaw them before cooking. You can also make your own meatballs if you prefer.
Can Sweet & Spicy Meatballs be Made in the Slow Cooker?
If you don't want to make these Sweet & Spicy Buffalo Meatballs on the stove, you can definitely make them in the crockpot. Just dump all the ingredients in the crockpot and let them cook on LOW for a couple of hours. Keep the meatballs in the slow cooker during the party and they will stay nice and warm.Sweet & Spicy Buffalo Meatballs are Great for a Crowd
